Come and enjoy the first days of Spring with our exciting outdoor pop up screening of Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. In collaboration with the Student Union. With special guest interview from Barry Wilkinson, BAFTA award winning props master (TBC).
Based on the 1981 novel Who Censored Roger Rabbit?, and set in Hollywood in the late 1940s, the film follows Eddie Valiant, a private detective attempting to clear the name of Roger Rabbit, following accusations that he’s murdered a wealthy businessman.
Since 2010, the University of Hertfordshire has worked on The Elstree Project, recording almost 70 oral history interviews with cast and crew members from major film and TV productions produced at Elstree Studios.
To further recognise some of the most iconic productions made in the local area, UHArts, in collaboration with Howard Berry, School of Creative Arts, aims to bring an exciting programme of screenings with special interviews and talks from members of the cast and production teams. We are also delighted to be working in collaboration with Elstree Studios.
