Hit the high notes and join the University’s Staff + Student choir!

UH Singers rehearsals will return in autumn 2026 and we would love to see you there – whether you’re a seasoned soprano or trying something new. Choir rehearsals take place on Thursday lunchtimes and offer a relaxed, friendly environment for staff and students to connect with others through singing.

There is no requirement to be able to read music or even have sung before. Whether you’re new to campus or simply returning after the holidays, this is the perfect opportunity to do something different and meet new people!

UH Singers rehearsals will be taken by conductor Hanh Doan on the following dates and locations:

About Hanh Doan

Hanh Doan is a Senior Academic Skills Tutor in the Centre for Education and Student Success, and a Senior Lecturer in Music Education in the Schools of Law and Education. She was formerly a secondary school music teacher for 19 years and during this time grew and led choirs and singing groups of all abilities both in school and the local community.
