Did you attend St Albans School of Art? Then we want to hear from you!
Join us for an informal ideas session as we continue to gather stories, memories, and reflections from those connected with the St Albans School of Art (later known as Hertfordshire College of Art and Design). ‘Living Memories of St Albans School of Art’ invites staff, students and alumni of the School to tell their stories and explore the rich history of this influential art school during its 150th anniversary.
Whether you studied, taught, or have a link to the School, we would love for you to get involved in sharing your memories and contributing to our ongoing research project!
During the session, you will have the opportunity to:
- Hear a short recap of the project so far – ideal for both returning contributors and first-time participants
- Learn more about the co-produced article being developed with Professor Steven Adams
- Offer your thoughts on the next publication: what could it look like, and what should it include? We’ll take inspiration from the first publication as a starting point
- Enjoy a hot drink and biscuit while chatting informally with the project team
- See the Firm Foundations Part II exhibition in our campus gallery
Please RSVP to this event by emailing: uharts@herts.ac.uk
We look forward to welcoming you to this event and hearing your stories!
