Spring is here – and what better way to welcome the new season than with a special event at the UH Allotments!
Join us to celebrate the Spring Equinox, take part in traditional activities and meet new people while taking in the fresh spring air.
- We start by meeting in the Art + Design Gallery at 14:00 where you will have the opportunity to see our current exhibition Enchanted Alchemies
- Then we take a brisk walk up to the UH Allotments and begin our celebration with an introductory talk by Dr Ceri Houlbrook at 14:30
- You are then invited to take part in traditional folklore activities, including singing and arts + crafts
- Hot drinks and light refreshments will be provided
Everyone is welcome at this FREE event. To book your place, please get in touch via uharts@herts.ac.uk
Please note, the allotment is on a slope with large gravel and grass. The walk from the Art + Design Gallery is uphill and takes 10-15 minutes. If you have any queries regarding accessibility, please get in touch and we will be happy to assist.
