UH Arts + Culture are thrilled to be taking part in HertsFest – the University of Hertfordshire’s vibrant on-campus festival!

HertsFest is a FREE event bringing together live performances, activities, food stalls and more in one of the biggest student events in the calendar. This year, we bring a magical workshop to the festival as part of our current exhibition Enchanted Alchemies.

Join artist Sarah Bellisario for a hands-on session that invites you to explore symbolism, imagination and transformation by creating a personal talisman card. Inspired by The Humannis Deck and using a mixed media approach, the workshop draws on themes of magic, myth and ritual that are central to the exhibition. When you’re finished, you can take your card away with you or have it displayed as part of our exhibition!

Please note, HertsFest is an event for UH staff and students only. The session will run as a drop-in. Come for 5 minutes or stay for the full 2 hours – it’s up to you!
