Discover small beans with big benefits in a lively exploration of pulses and their place in sustainable food systems!

Drawing on her research at the University of Hertfordshire, Lucy Michaels will explore how and why we should grow, cook and eat more pulses. There will also be an opportunity to examine different types of beans and find out more about growing and eating them.

You’ll leave with a fresh appreciation of the humble bean – and perhaps some inspiration to grow and enjoy more pulses yourself!

This event is FREE and open to students, staff and the public. To book your free place, please email s.davies23@herts.ac.uk
